WJ SERIES

Here is a new range that has the compressor designers positively beaming. And it takes a good compressor to do that.

Designed in cooperation between Kirby engineers and those of our Thai joint venture, Kulthorn Kirby, the WJ will offer the following outstanding features.

Heavy Duty Bearings. The WJ takes its main mechanical components from the proven, twin cylinder AW design. When these features are transferred to the single cylinder WJ, the result is an extremely rugged, durable compressor.

Quiet and Smooth-running. Balance has been optimised for the best results, while internal muffler design has received particular attention. The results you can see, feel and hear for yourselves.

Low Profile Housing. The height has been reduced so that the WJ is a little shorter than the industry standard – the AJ. And when you take into account that the AJ needs additional space above it to remove the terminal cover, then the height advantage of the WJ is potentially even greater.

Standard Mounts. The WJ has the 203 x 122 mm mounting centres as used on AK and AJ compressors.

Convenient Installation Features. We have grouped the suction valve, discharge connector tube and electrical terminals together. Easy access to all the essential components.

All Popular Applications. WJ models will be available for a comprehensive range of refrigerants and applications.

AE18MG SERIES AND AE18LZ COMPRESSORS

The AE18LZ and AE18MG are two new compressor models that we would like to introduce you to. We think you will become firm friends.
The AE has proven to be an outstanding platform over many years, and the previous extension of the AE range to 16cc offered three exceptional models.
- The AE16LMY, a versatile performer, using R404A, R134a, or any of the accepted substitute refrigerants.
- The AE16MG, designed to handle R22 and R404A at medium temperatures.
- More recently, the AE16LZ has appeared, with copper discharge tube and other refinements.
Now we can open another chapter in the AE Story.
Fully life tested, and with new bearing specifications where appropriate, the AE18LZ and AE18MG will make an impression just as positive as their smaller brothers did.
Like the AE16, the AE18 offers excellent output when compared with its displacement. It is more than a match for most 19 cc compressors. Which means that it offers even better value-for-money.
