Evaporators and Condensers
 Cabinet Coolers
Appealing in appearance, the all-white look of the Kirby cabinet cooler range blends in with cabinet interiors. Their low profile offers minimum intrusion into storage space, while their airflow ensures minimum temperature gradients within the cabinet.
Models are available for medium temperature applications (the standard KC and the twin blower KCT range) and low temperature (KF).
 Evaporators
The Kirby 9000 Series Evaporator is a low frost innovation that uses a unique fin pattern to minimise latent load and maximise sensible load. Enhanced fin configuration means less moisture removal and vastly improved run times before ice formation. Smart coil design means the coil loses less airflow as ice builds up, due to the larger ratio of fin surface to tube surface. This results in more stable room conditions between defrosts and allows the coil to hold ice for longer between defrosts.
The result is an evaporator with greater efficiency and longer time between defrosts.
Operating on a lower temperature differential, the Kirby 9000 Series Evaporator uses less defrost heater wattage (up to 15% less than conventional models) which reduces energy consumption and can deliver substantial cost savings over the full life of the unit.
 Condensers
The KRC and WRC condenser ranges offers a wide variety of models from 0.67 kW to 61.3 kW, when rated at 1 K TD. The WRC offers floating coil design, to guard against tube failure at the end plates. Just as important, the WRC design is based on standard 6 pole fans, but offers the option of 8 pole fans in the standard configuration, so very low sound levels are possible. For "Whisper Quiet" WRC condensers, our software allows the selection of a condenser with a specific maximum fan speed, the selection being based on heat of rejection, footprint and permissible sound level. Fans are then programmed in our factory to ensure that the correct maximum speed will be achieved. With an attractive powder coat finish, the option of coil protection and the ability to specify EC fans, the WRC represents the best condenser package available in Australia.
